The First Congregational Church of Wiscasset held its 21st Annual Summerfest, from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, July 24th on the Town Common. 

Some of the all day activities included:  Antiques & Collectibles; Jewelry; Books; Crafts; Toys; Greenhouse; New & Used Items; Hand-crafted Wooden Items; Baked Goods; Candy; Uncommon Café (seating available); Silent Auction (great items donated from area merchants); games, balloons & dunk tank for children; the entertainment throughout the day was by the Ragtime Rascals;

ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO AREA CHARITIES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE COMMUNITY! On August 1st the Summerfest Committee announced the amount raised so far was $5688 almost 10% more than last year to be shared with area outreach programs.
